Android P is almost ready to be released for the Pixel device and Partnered Android devices version. This upcoming new Android version has released its beta version for the supporting devices. Google soon will release the official version of Android P, as a report suggest Android P beta is the final version of the this new Android Operating System.
This Developer preview of Android P shifted to the Android developers in March, this year. All tech fans know this upcoming Android Operating System will be the 9th edition of the Android Operating System. It is a successor to the current Android Oreo 8.0 version. However, the tech world still uncertain about what the letter “P” stands for.
How to Install Android P Developer Preview on Any Android Phone?
Android P version is coming with some cool features, which every Android users are eagerly waiting for it. It is found that Google is seeding its YouTube Dark Theme feature on random Android devices. As this is not official yet for the public, you will need to join the Android P Developer Preview enrollment. First Android P DP was available for the Pixel and Nexus devices but recently more devices are compatible for installing this new Android version. While releasing the new beta for Android P, Dave Burke, Android’s Vice President of Engineering said,
“Beta 4 is the last preview milestone before we launch the official Android P platform later this summer. Take this opportunity to test your apps and publish updates, to make sure you offer a great experience to users transitioning to Android P!”

- As said, you will have to join the Android Beta Program; click here to join Beta Preview.
- Now choose your device from the available option and click OK to confirm your device.
- As this enrollment is for Android P beta update via OTA (Over the Air), you will need to check it in the device Settings.
- Go to the device Settings-About phone-System Updates, here you can check for the Android P update for Android.
- If you see any available update download the Android P and Install after download.
